TRACEY COSGROVE
Tracey Cosgrove only intended to stay
in Tasmania for a year but didn’t count on falling in love with a fifth
generation Tasmanian. Now she plans to die here, eventually.
Growing up on a farm, family holidays in Bogan Gate, (yes it’s a real place),
and motherhood have provided ample fodder for comedy.
After graduating from Gavin Baskerville's class Stand Up Comedy for Beginners
and The Terrified in September 2007, she has performed at Big Laughs in The
Little Pub and The Loft.
Her style being more homely than edgy she says that,’ The Most uncomfortable
thing about stand up comedy is the standing. I much prefer lie on the couch
while someone makes me a shandy comedy. But those gigs are hard to come by.’
